Over its 100 year history, the Minnesota advertising community has
grown from a few tiny shops servicing local businesses and used car
dealerships to world class agencies developing award-winning campaigns
to sell products worldwide. This video, created for the 100th
anniversary of the Advertising Federation of Minnesota, looks at the
communities’ humble beginnings using interviews with
federation founders and a look back at some memorable ad campaigns.

anniversary of Ad Fed, Producer/Director Bob Hammel goes to the Mall of
America to find out what the public really thinks about the omnipresent
ads created to influence their choices.
Six
choreographers are commissioned to set a solo piece on six dancers.
Ultimately, each solo represents the combined vision of two artists
struggling with the limitations of time, budget and ability to create a
unique work of art. Solo looks at a process of collaborative creation
to create an ephemeral moment of beauty.
