DADance: It's Simple

When Choreographer Denise Armstead began working on her evening-length piece “The Three Bonnies”, her goal was to bring together two worlds – the world of dance and the world of horses. The problem – how do you get a horse onstage? In this work-in-progress, Perimeter uses interviews and footage to bring the horse world into the theater. “It’s Simple” combines video footage of two dancers and a horse on the screen as the two dancers perform the same dance live on the stage.

TV Men

When Josh Cragun, co-artistic director of nimbus theatre, conceived of his original play TV Men, he knew that a complex projection design would be necessary. Perimeter Productions assembled a design plan for the show, using video both on stacked TVs at the side of the stage and projected onto the back scrim behind the actors. The video consisted of stills, moving sequences, titles, and live feed from the stage to create the various worlds of each section of the play.
